During an orientation meeting we will discuss your goals and what type of coaching is most suitable. It is of utmost importance that you feel safe with me as your coach.
I usually meet clients for 6 to 9 sessions of 1.5 hours each. Besides talking, a session will also consist of a variety of exercises. By evaluating your own behavior and reflecting on it, you will gain insight on what causes your discomfort.
Unconsciously, you might often follow patterns in your thinking and behavior that harm you instead of helping you.
I apply the RET (Rational Effectivity Training) a lot. This training is highly effective in reducing stress, and is also helpful with many other problems. By becoming aware of the thoughts and emotions that cause you problems, you will learn to behave differently. Examples of these are: not being able to speak up in conversations with dominant personalities, struggling with an overbooked schedule and finding it difficult to say NO.
In between sessions you will keep practicing. In doing so, you will discover a different approach to the situations you encounter, allowing you to feel and perform better.
